One of MI's chief priorities in 2008 is to achieve intergovernmental agency status. International status furthers MI’s potential to deliver tools that support an integrated approach to sustainable development planning. It also helps catalyze the institutionalization of System Dynamics in the national development planning processes of countries around the world. These approaches have been advocated by the multilateral and bilateral donor community in order to enhance the effectiveness of development aid.
Questions & Answers How will MI achieve intergovernmental agency status? Which countries are being considered as a signatory of MI's Charter? What will MI's structure be post-internationalization? MI will be governed by an international Board of Trustees, which shall exercise all the powers conferred by the Charter. |
